A Case Report of Mucoepidepidermoid Carcinoma on Buccal Mucosa

Abstract
|

|
This is a case report of mucoepidermoid carcinoma occured in the Lt. buccal mucosa.
The patient, 53 year old male was admitted to Dept. of Oral & Maxillofacial Suger), Chosun University Hospital with complaint of longstanding tumor mass in the left buccal mucosa.
The radical excision and irradiation therapy- was performed.
1. The primary site of mucoepidemoid carcinoma Avas the left buccal mucosa which was known as common site..
2. There was ro evidence of neural invasion, destruction of surrounding bone, :end also no evidence of metastasis to lung or cervical lymphnode.
3. Postoperative complication were not seen.
4. On the basis of histopatho logic find´ zg, it seems- that prognosis will be good, but follow-up over the years should be required.
